My way to double web traffic

I'm getting a lot of questions regarding "How can I promote my business online?" What is the best way to promote your online business, which tactics I'm using? So, I decided to write my answer, my way.

I'm sure that my list is not the "perfect one" but works for me.

Best Way to Market Your Business Online

  1. Keyword research. Keyword research is one of the most crucial and strategic parts of search engine optimization and marketing. Neil Patel says "The way you rank for a keyword is by creating content around it. I know content isn’t king anymore and that’s because there are over 1 billion blogs on the web. That means Google can be really picky about what they decide to rank. So now, not only do you need to write amazing content, but you also have to promote it if you want to do well."

  2. Create your own site and blog. Take into consideration that a blog not only helps your company get its name out through followers but is a way to connect with your consumers more directly. One of the best ways to increase your income is by positioning yourself as an authority in your field. You can do this by starting a blog related to your business.

  3. Post-high-quality content regularly. Use high-quality photos, before publishing them, please "edit" & "Crop" photos, cut out the boring parts, cut out the irrelevant, make a boring image more interesting.

  1. Do a checklist before publishing your post/products. Check hyperlinks, spelling, #tags, meta title and description display on search engine results and social media, etc.

  2. Market your content on Quora. Both media are not a direct marketing tool, you are not selling in Quora but helps you to get credit and get traffic to your web site and blogs. Quora can be one of the major traffic sources for almost any business if done wisely. It has a long term effect – even a year after you posted an answer, people can still find it, which will lead to potentially more traffic to your website.

  3. Embrace social media. Build a strong social media presence a daily activity, content marketing remains the best-selling tactic for promoting businesses online it is a must activity.

  4. SEO your website and blog. Search engine optimization is a long, but efficient way to reach the highest position in search engine search results organically, without paying for ads. On-page SEO is important because it tells Google all about your website and how you provide value to visitors and customers. It helps your site be optimized for both human eyes and search engine bots.

  5. Join Facebook groups. Facebook Pages are an excellent way to market your business. Promote your business on local groups.

  6. Post to Instagram & YouTube. YouTube provides a free way to distribute creative promotional videos, but in order to succeed you must put up content that people want to view and are relevant to your business. Instagram has over 1 billion active monthly users, 500 million of whom are active daily on the image-based social platform. Users' engagement with brands on Instagram is at least 10 times higher than on any other social platform

  7. Create your own Facebook group. Facebook Pages are an excellent way to market your business, Facebook’s platform can have a big impact on how many people actually see your posts. Invite your friends and follower to join your group. Announce your Facebook group in your newsletter to invite your subscribers. Write a blog post about your group to invite your readers.

  8. Generate website traffic with Pinterest. Take into consideration that Pinterest, is a focused social media network which audience is 80% women, It is a wonderful platform to advertise your blog as long as you are sure your service/product could be interesting for the female audience.

  9. Build Your Email List & Send Emails Regularly. Effective marketing emails could convert interested users into customers, and turn one-time buyers into loyal. Email content must be positive content is more shareable, practicable, people like sharing practical information. Email marketing works best when it’s regular and consistent

  10. Collaborate with popular bloggers/partners in your niche. Actively contribute with bloggers, passively promote your business by putting a link in your signature or mentioning it only when the context is appropriate. Another way is "Cross-promotion" which means partnering with another business to create a promotion that benefits both of you.

  11. Be friendly with your customers -not friends. You can have friendly, professional relationships with your clients without crossing over the limits into “friend territory.”

  12. Give a simple and good first impression. Listen to your potential customers and your customers, understand what are the problems, they are looking for solutions to their problems, they no care about you or your services or products; they want SOLUTIONS, so explain your services/products in a simple way.

  13. Start again with steps 1,2, ........ Always continue learning about customer's needs, your solutions & products.
